my recent stay in fujikawaguchiko was amazing, but k's house blew me away! the staff's english was excellent, the luggage storage was free, and the place was spotless. they even gave us a map for finding great restaurants. i'll definitely be back soon!

location is near from kawaguchiko st & you have a facilitity to pick us up & bridge to see the mt fuji is also near.. good!

It is a good hostel because rooms are big and there is lots of space ( huge living room, kitchen, dvd room...). As for the location it is quite far away from the 5th station to climb the Mont Fuji (only July and August) but anyway it is cheap and there are lots of way to reach the 5th station of Mont Fuji so I recommand it!

Stayed at K's House in early nov..the trip there was a treat as we could already see mt.fuji on the train to kawaguchi station. coach was there shortly about 15 mins at the station after we made the call. it took about 5 mins to K's house..I felt welcome by the brightly coloured, spacious and lifely reception. Check in was done briefly and professionally..Am most impressed with the functionable kitchenette, room and everywhere else is clean and tidy..We got a little treat as we have an extra open verander area on the 2nd floor..Shopping and food is easily accessible by walks. Autumn leaves and the ropeway to see the majestic mt fuji is doable by bike. We throughly enjoyed the experience. Definitely recommend K's House..

Relaxed atmosphere. friendly group of people. Good space in the communal living room and kitchen. All the staff speak English and are helpful.

No racks in rooms to dry towels. No storage space such as cupboards in mixed dormitory.

We had a fantastic stay at this hostel near Mt Fuji. The free shuttle from the station made it easy to get to, and the frequent buses made it convenient to explore the area. The spacious kitchen and common area were perfect for late-night gatherings. The short walk to the lake provided breathtaking views of Mt Fuji. Plus, having a supermarket nearby made it fun to try different foods. I highly recommend this hostel.

Fantastic place to stay! The staff are incredibly inviting. We stayed here the night before hiking Mt. Fuji. If we return to Kawaguchiko, I will 100% stay here again.

The hostel was extremely helpful and accommodating when we arrived late and needed a room. They provided us with a private Japanese-style room, which was a nice touch. the shared bathrooms were clean and the showers were great. the staff spoke English well and helped us with information about attractions and closures due to bad weather.

That the toilet area was not heated, which was a bit inconvenient.
